Happy Birthday Tucker!

We couldn't wait to celebrate Tucker's 9th birthday on Saturday!
They all loved skating and playing hockey!
 The Birthday Boy!

 It's hard to believe he's already 9!

Oh yeah, we also celebrated Uncle Cody's 43rd birthday too!
Saturday afternoon Maisen came over to play and they had so much fun making an obstacle course on the drive way.
For years now Madi has been wanting the puppies to have their own stockings.
So, we finally got hooks and up the stockings went right by their food bowls.
Hopefully, Santa will fill their stockings this year too!

Thanksgiving Lunch!

Monday started with me in Tallahassee and Matt and Madi on their own!
 Tuesday
Thankfully, Daddy was able to enjoy Thanksgiving lunch with our Turkey on Tuesday.
I had to capture her hair that said "I slept well last night!"
Florida State University was a beautiful campus to enjoy all week.
 Wednesday
 Thursday
On Thursday I drove out to a school that was in the National Forest.
Matt and Madi were at Walmart and Academy late Thursday night to get some yellow stuff for Madi's house party on Friday.

Friday she was ready for the black-light dance party!
And thankfully I was home around 8:30pm to enjoy the beginning of our weekend and Thanksgiving break with my two favorites!

Food Bank

While her Daddy was grilling dinner Friday night, we were making a dress out of one of his old shirts and watching Christmas movies.
Then she put one of his old shirts over her footie pajamas and made us laugh!
She made up this business man dance/song and wanted it recorded!
Saturday morning we volunteered with our church at the food bank.  We do this twice a year and enjoy it every single time.
After volunteering, we headed to Holland Gardens to get lights for our flower beds and walk way.
These two did a fabulous job!
Our house is ready for the Christmas season.

A little early . . .

We sure like to decorate for Christmas a little early around the Heider house.
Since I'll be traveling this week and we have so many fun things planned for Thanksgiving break, it really works for us to have it done early!
Plus when you have a helper that is so excited to decorate it makes it even more fun!

Last weekend, we spent both evenings cooking out at the Foley house.  There were no complaints from the kids!  They played a soccer game and much more!
Last Sunday, Maci entertained herself while I helped Tripp with homework.
Madi didn't have school on Monday so she played at her friend Devyn's house for most of the day.
 Tuesday
Christmas movies have begun in our house too so when Madi say this grandma named Betty that looks just like our Grandma B she wanted me to take a picture.  She and Grandma Mayberry went to dinner and watched movies while Matt and I went to dinner with our Chilean visitors at the Funky Door.

We had our site coordinator meeting at one of their houses now that she lives downtown Lubbock in the Pioneer building.  It was neat to see the whole city down below.
When I first started traveling, I bought little gifts for Madi to open each day that I was away.  It was really so she could see how long until I would be home.
Well, even though she now understands when I'll be home she thinks the gifts should still happen.  :)

Happy Halloween!

Saturday this little cutie came over to play . . .
While Tripp had a homework date with his Aunt Sherre.
Saturday night Madi went to Emersyn's slumber party and I got these pictures from the mom . . . .

Sunday evening  we carved a pumpkin and this is how Madi felt about it . . .
We are thankful for a Daddy that is a good carver!
Madi made the silliest design for us to carve . . .
 Monday

Our neighbor brought us chocolate from Harry Potter world during his visit to London!
 Tuesday
I zipped over to Madi's school to see her Halloween Party!

Madi's 4th grade class with Mrs. Gregory

Then a sweet friend snapped our picture for us!
 Enjoying sweet treats . . .
Halloween night we went to Devyn's house for dinner then a fun round of trick-or-treating.
 A quick dinner . . .
 then we were off!
