Friends & Fun

 We spent Friday morning running a few errands to get ready for our weekend.

Then we spent the afternoon at the pool.

  Friday evening we had dinner and sat in the hot tub at the Foley's house in celebration of Adam's birthday!  Madi always has a blast at their house!

I had to snap a picture of my guy all dressed up in one of his new suits this last week. 

I think I could get used to seeing him dressed like this every day!

Even More Summer Fun!

 Facebook posted this picture of Madi holding Maci right after she was born as a memory the other day.  Hard to believe it's been 4 years!

 Tuesday morning, Lauren spent the day with us so her mom could go to a workshop.  We're excited that she'll be teaching 3rd grade at their school next year!

 We spent a little bit of the morning at Science Spectrum . . . climbing walls

 And running around.

 We made plans to meet for lunch at noon but then realized we had chosen the Dress like a Cow day and get free food.  It was busier than normal!

 Wednesday

 These two are our popcorn-lovers at the movies each Wednesday morning!

 Still enjoying all things summer but we ordered Madi's backpack and lunch box Monday morning and we were so surprised when it was delivered Wednesday afternoon.  Super quick delivery especially with monogramming.

 Tuesday we went home from the pool and rested for a few hours then headed to another pool for our Sunday School class swim party.

 We grill out hamburgers and hotdogs and all of our kids (and some adults!) swim the evening away!

 Thursday was the first KDOT - Kids Day Our Thursday that our church holds every summer. 

This week was Main Event.  They each got a game card, laser tag or golf and an hour of bowling plus pizza, Popsicles and this fun water slide back at the church!  

We invited Margaret and Tucker so Madi and Maisen had a blast with all their friends!

Fun-Filled Days!

 We have definitely kept our summer days fun-filled!

Maisen came along with us to the pool on Sunday after church so Matt could study in peace and quiet.

 Sunday evening we met the Kings for dinner at a new Mexican food restaurant.

 Monday was help organize your sister's closet and hang out with cousin day!

 While the kids had water balloon fights Shelle and I were cleaning and organizing.  :)

 We did take a break for lunch at Chick-fila . . .

 And to play at the Science Spectrum for a few hours!

By Monday afternoon, after swim practice of course, we were ready for a quiet evening at home!

We Escaped!

 Saturday night, we went out with our friends the Foleys to Trapped Escape the Room.

 We already escaped the laboratory a few months ago and this time we beat all the records for escaping the playroom!

 We ate at Triple Js downtown then walked around the Depot District. 

We decided to try out Louie, Louie's Piano Bar and we were amazed!

 There were two groups of guys at the dueling pianos and all were SO talented!

 Matt got called up to the stage to walk like George Jefferson as they played Moving on Up!

 It was too funny!

Video quality isn't the best but it's all I could manage with laughing so hard!

We didn't want to leave and decided to come back next week!

More Birthday Parties!

Saturday morning we headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Mayberry. 

 We had to do some shopping while we were there!

 Then we all went to my cousin Klay's twin girls' 2nd birthday party.

 Tripp, Tucker, Madi and Maci had so much fun swimming at their party.

 Elora had the cutest swim suit on!

  It's so fun to see my cousin Klay as a dad. 

  I couldn't help but think how I so wish my Aunt Bev was with us today.

 After a quick lunch and rest we headed to our friend Margaret's 7th birthday party!

 Madison and Margaret have become friends since Stephanie and I work together so much!

And as if that wasn't a full enough weekend we have more fun coming up!

Maci's 4th Birthday!

 Friday was July 10th Maci's 4th Birthday!

 We spent the morning getting birthday presents for the next round of parties coming up this weekend!  We found these for my cousin Klay's twin girls.

 Madi spent the afternoon at Maisen's house playing then after swim practice we headed straight to 50th Street Caboose for Maci's party.
