Making Pizza!

We made pizza at home last Friday night.  Madi not only loves to help cook but she loves knowing and following the directions (or recipes!).

 First, she helped roll out the dough and add pizza sauce.

 Next, we added cheese.  LOTS of cheese!

 She was very careful as she placed each individual pepperoni.

Ready to go in the oven!

I think we have a new tradition!

Tripp's 9th Birthday Party

It was HOT at Tripp's party!  So Matt and I found a little shade!

 And Madi wasn't too sure how to play all the fun games at first.

 Like water balloon popping . . .

 Golf ball carrying . . .

 Potato sack racing . . .

 Balloon tossing . . .

 So Daddy took her to the trampoline to teach her how to pop a water balloon.

 She did it!

 Then she started having a little more fun!

 Singing to the Birthday boy! 



Cabinets

We love our house, but the one thing we've always wanted to change is the cabinets.  They look dirty right after I "clean" them which is frustrating.  Instead of getting new cabinets, we decided to try to repaint them.

Our bathroom looks new again!  And it only took a few hours total. 

The kitchen cabinets are our next project so wish us luck!

Upside Down

A while back, Madison surprised me and Matt by swinging upside down and then flipping off by herself in the backyard!

It scared us to death!  Of course, the very next time she bit the dust and fell face first into the ground.

But thankfully, she's back at it again! This is her favorite thing to do!

Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day weekend!

We repainted our bathroom cabinets (which may not seem like fun, but to us it was a blast!)

Then Matt and I went on a date to Carino's and to see The Lucky One.

I'm so thankful my husband loves to see chick flicks with me!

Then after church, Matt and Madi made my favorite meal of Meatballs and rice.

I've had the best Mother's Day ever!  

Golfing

Matt asked me and Madi to come along while he played golf yesterday afternoon.



I've never been before, other than to see him at the driving range, so I thought it would be fun!

Madi LOVED holding the flag, finding his golf ball, watching the wild jack rabbits, getting water, . . . . basically she was in heaven!

We ended our afternoon date with dinner at Chili's.

Doesn't get much better than that!



Dance Costume

Madison's annual dance recital is coming soon!

So, we had to try on the costume and make sure everything fit just right.

Other than saying it was a little itchy, I think she liked it!

I just need to tape her tap shoes white (fun times!) and we'll be all set.

Every Tuesday before dance, she asks "Do I dance on the stage today?"

She definitely likes to  perform!
