Spring Planting

Madi LOVES to help outside in anyway.

So, when we planted the flowerbed she was right there ready to help.

After calling it a "flowerbed" all afternoon, she finally asked us "Who's going to sleep in the flowerbed?" Ha!

She loves to dig in the dirt and water all the plants.

I'm hoping she gets her Grandpa Heider's green thumb!

I Can Tie My Shoes!

A few weeks ago, Matt showed Madison how to tie the "practice shoe" below.

She did it right away on her own and by the next morning she was a shoe tying girl!

I've shown her how once before, but she showed no interest in learning.

I guess Daddies are just better teachers at some things!

Spring Break - Part II

Here are some pictures of Matt trying to beat a kid!

He was very serious!

You can tell he's happy when he starts to pass the kid! Again, I could not stop laughing!

Then it was bumper boat time!

Then we went through the maze. You had to find four check points then find your way out.

It was pretty tough. We had to have the guys' help on this one!

Madi and Tucker begged to ride the go-carts again! Here they are with their tickets in hand.

Next up, were the guys again but this time with no kids and on the PRO track!

It was such a beautiful view and you can see them on the track if you look very closely.

Bumper boats again with the guys this time.

Madi didn't like it much this time since they SOAKED each other with the squirt guns.

Thank goodness the weather was nice because they were soaked ALL OVER!

One night before dinner, we took the kids to right the ponies.

They all wanted to ride again, but thankfully the wagon ride was a nice distraction.

Grandma took the kids on the 15 minute ride through the mountain.

The morning before we left we took a picture in front of our cabin at Lookout Estates.

Matt and I took turns so we could both be in the picture.
My parents' good friends (and Church Pastor) James and Tommi came along too.

We all had a blast! And can't wait to do it again sometime!

Spring Break - Part I

We headed to Ruidoso for Spring Break with my side of the family.

We rented a huge house for all of us to stay in.
The kids found the playroom/basement immediately!

The guys found the poker table just as fast too!

Maci enjoyed her first trip to the mountains.

The house was PERFECT for all of us.
Grandma and Tripp watching a movie!

There was a poker game each evening.

Hikes during the day . . .
They tricked me by yelling "hey, look a deer!" and I fell for it. Haha!

And many, many games.
Headbanz was the favorite since all ages could play.

More hikes . . .

Our second day there we headed to the go-cart/maze place.

Oops . . . out of order. But Tuck had to potty on our hike. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do!

Madi and Tucker racing their own go-carts had to be the cutest site ever!

Madi was so serious . . .

And Tucker smiled the whole time.

There were a few collisions but nothing serious.

Matt thought it was adorable too so he had to get video of them racing.

Then it was time for the little ones to ride with the Dads on the big go-carts.

I was cracking up the whole time because Matt was so serious about winning. You could see his big smile every time he passed another go-cart which usually had a kid in it!

Tripp loved racing with the big kids!
