At the pool . . .

I'm pretty sure Madison and Tucker think Matt is their own personal swim toy!
They love for him to throw them in the air, catch them on the slide or "get" the other big kids by chasing them through the water.
They are both loving the water again this year.
Hopefully, they'll both be little swimmers by the end of the summer!

Swim Lessons

Madi started swim lessons last week.
She decorated her bag and was all ready to go!

Waiting on the edge for her teachers . . .

The teachers took the class on an "adventure" at the end of each lesson.
They each had a noodle tied around them as they swam through the lazy river. They looked for hippos and wild animals along the way. Each time we leave her lesson Madi has to show me the hippo underwater in the cave.

This is the last week of swim lessons. Thank goodness!

Dance

Here's Madi on her way to the last practice before the BIG RECITAL!
She showed a few moves before getting in the car.
Right after the Saturday morning performance we took a couple pictures outside the school.

It was VERY bright and sunny!
Oops! Forgot to get one with Madi and my parents! It was a hectic day!
Here are the flowers Madi's Daddy gave her after the morning performance. She was so proud!
I'll post the group picture as soon as I receive it in the mail. I'm also going to try and post the video of her dance if I can figure it out!

Almost Dance Recital Time!

Madison's first dance recital is this weekend.
She knows her dance and the song.
I'm just hoping she'll do it once up on stage.
And not do this . . . !
They've practiced every week getting it just right.
So I'm sure she'll do just fine.
We'll call it success if she just goes on stage in front of hundreds of people and doesn't run off crying.
Her costume came with a bear in a matching dress. They aren't using it as a prop so it's just a fun reward to have after the recital.

Good Luck Miss Madi!

Hair Clips?

Madi found these clips while we were going through Matt's (and mine) math stuff from school.

Guess she thought they were hair clips!
Pretty cute!

What's better than one swing . . . ?

TWO SWINGS!
At the same time.
Or at least Madison thought so!

Matt watched Madi and Tucker while Aunt Shelle, Aunt Erin and I had our annual girls day.
They rented Toy Story 3 and had a "movie" day at home complete with popcorn and candy.
Matt took these pictures so we could see their day!
