Growing Up Fast!

I try to take pictures of Madi every once and a while and not just at events and parties. That way I can get more of her and usually even one smile! After church I took a few pics outside since it was such a nice day. Madi started out normal then started posing and acting goofy. There are some cute smiles of her.
At first . . . with her Daddy

Warming up to the idea of pictures . . .

It's a little bright but she just stood up there and was ready for her picture.

And here come the smiles . . .

And tongue . . .

And more smiles . . .

Not sure what this pose is but she sure was proud . . .

Looking at Daddy and being goofy . . .

More smiles . . .

On Halloween, Madi trick or treated to her Great Aunt Bevie and Uncle Douge's house. They just adore her and Uncle Douge even gets on the floor to play with her. Then we headed home but did make it a little around our neighborhood for some more trick or treating later that night. All in all, Madison LOVED Halloween once she got the hang of it. She'd go right to the door and start opening her bag. Quick Learner!!!

One last picture of our sweet little puppy!

Our Little Puppy

We went to Tech for Safe Treat Thursday night with the Vargo family. Madison and Nora are good buddies so we knew they'd love to trick or treat together. Here's Madison as a puppy!

I couldn't believe she let me pin the ears on her AND let me paint her nose a little. She never ceases to amaze me.
Walking with Daddy . . .
I was running ahead to get pics since we were a little late so they are blurry!

Nora . . . the cute bunny
Cheryl and Lydia the turtle . . .
She was pretty shy at first but once she got the hang of it she was saying "mama knock" then opening her bag and grabbing the candy.

Madison & Nora

One tired little puppy . . . FULL of candy!

The other day Tucker did the funniest thing. He picked a ball up with his feet and held it over his body so he could grab it with his hands. I couldn't believe so I had him do it again and grabbed the camera. Pretty talented if you ask me!

We got Ele-fun for Madi for her birthday and she has been begging everyday to open it. So we got it out and they had so much fun playing with it. Butterflies fly out of the elephants trunk and you use a net to catch as many as you can.

What are those things?

I love to get close ups of Tucker. He'll look right at me and not run away. Even though he is crawling EVERYWHERE now. Good thing our house was already baby-proofed.

The nets fit perfectly on their heads. . . . go figure!

This past weekend we celebrated Cousins Birthdays so my parents were in town. They just adore Madison.

Outside at Main Event before heading to get ice cream!

Then while Matt and Cody went to Vegas for Matt's birthday I took Madi and Tucker to visit my parents for a few days. And of course my battery died right after I took this first picture of Tucker and Sugar. Oh well. We had a good visit just no pictures to prove it!

More Halloween pictures to come!

Madison's 2nd Birthday!

For Madison's 2nd Birthday I tried to be a little creative! She loves anything to do with dogs so we picked out puppy plates, napkins, etc. We even had balloons with paw prints on them. Then I found a picture on the internet of puppy cupcakes. I had Mrs. Camps bakery make the cupcakes but I decorated them. I think they turned out pretty cute. Madi loved them so that's all that really matters.

On a few of the cupcakes I put scooby treats and paw prints.

Here's the birthday girl and her Daddy at the park.

And with her Momma!

Here's Grandma with Cousin Tucker.

Uncle Cody holding the birthday girl upside down!

I couldn't believe it when Madi sat right down and said picture next to my sister's kids.
Perfect opportunity!

Vargo fam - Nora is Madi's best buddy and her little sis Lydia.

Blowing out the candles . . .

We thought for a second she was going to eat the candles instead of blow them out.

Opening presents . . .

She actually got into it this year.

Grandma Heider made Madison this adorable jumper she wore to church on Sunday. She looked so grown up and adorable. We got many compliments on it at church.

Being silly with Daddy.

We had a great time celebrating Madi's 2nd birthday with friends, family, food and fun! She loves the park so we couldn't think of a better place to celebrate.
