A Shopper in the Making!

I was cleaning out my closets and decided to give Madi a few of my old purses instead of throwing them away. She absolutely loved carrying them around and putting stuff inside. (Sorry for the no-pants pics . . . it was a lazy day!)

Filling up her purse with all sorts of goodies! We know where to look for the missing remote control from now on!

I love how she's holding her purse on her arm. So cute!

On the go . . . again!

Miss Independent

Now, wherever we go Madison must walk on her own. No more being carried by Mommy and Daddy. The weather was finally warm enough to venture outside so away she went.

Definitely Miss Independent!
Grass, sidewalk, parking lots . . . it doesn't matter to her! She'll walk anywhere.

Taking a quick break.

It's so cute to see her study the changes in walking surfaces. She'll test it out and then away she goes again!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we went to church, ate at Red Lobster and looked at a few lights (Madi wasn't in much of a car-ride mood) then went home to open presents. Every present my mom opened was taken by Madi and brought to me. It was too cute. She loved all her presents!

Thank goodness for Grandpa feeding Madi cheerios during church.

Grandma kept Tucker quiet with a bottle!

Madi loved her See 'n Say that she got from Kennedy & Keegan.

Roswell Christmas

We went to Roswell this past weekend for Christmas with Matt's parents and sister's family. We made Christmas candy, the famous Heider fudge and pies. Matt's dad made prime rib and lobster. Needless to say, we left Roswell a little heavier than when we arrived.

Here's a pic of us with Cody, Erin, Ethan and Owen.

Matt's dad loves to get pictures of everyone!

Pictures, pictures & more pictures

My cousin Kirk's wife Melanie Pittman, http://www.melaniepittman.com/, is a local photographer and took these adorable pictures of Madison a few weeks after her first birthday.

We had to take a cheerio break!

I love this picture! She looks just so cute!

This is the typical Madi laugh picture.

This close-up is precious.

Madi wanted no part of standing up! She wanted to crawl around and scuff up her shoes and tights.

Love, love, love this pic!

Another Madi laugh pic. Can't get enough!

Babysitting Tucker!

Madi and I kept Tucker one afternoon for Shelle. This picture just sums up the afternoon we had. Tucker was asleep the whole time and I'm not even sure if Madi knew he was there.

Owen - The Birthday Boy!

Grandma and Madi looking out the window at Shadow.

I absolutely love this picture of Madi on her Daddy's shoulders!

I think Madi loved Owen's birthday toys as much as he did. Thank goodness Owen doesn't mind sharing with her.
