We headed to the airport the last Saturday of June all packed and ready for a week long cruise!
The girls loved the massage chairs at the airport. Best $7 they ever spent, they said.
We stayed Saturday night in Galveston right by the pier in a neat warehouse hotel. We walked around Galveston after dinner.
Sunday morning, Matt and I went out to run in the heat and humidity and saw our ship!
On aboard!
We immediately got some food and drinks and played games!
We had fun looking around the ship and enjoying the pool!
Ready for dinner on the first night!
Allan was the best magician each night at dinner!
After dinner we walked around some more . . . It was hot and windy and we clashed a bit but it was still so beautiful!
Our group text with the Norrises is titled 417 since those are Elly and Madi's volleyball numbers so we thought it was fitting that our breakfast table was number 417.
Cookies at breakfast? Why not?
Katy and I ordered funny shirts for the cruise!
The next night was more formal so the girls had fun getting dressed up and even humored me for some pictures.
Family picture at dinner!
After dinner most nights, we went to the comedy shows that were so good!
We also went to the casino a few nights and had our ups and downs!
The girls enjoyed a few fun drinks by the pool!
We played some trivia one day and didn't too well but had fun!
That night they had a dance party on the Lido deck!
The next day we had an excursion in Belize which was so fun but so hot! We snorkeled with stingrays and sharks. So cool!
We loved the towel animals in our cabin each night and out on the pool decks each morning!
The next day we took an excursion to an island in Cozumel for a day of eating, drinking and playing in the ocean.
The girls all wanted to get Henna tattoos!
Back to the ship . . .
The boat rides were beautiful but too hot and humid to enjoy.
Allan did an amazing magic trick on Madi this night where she had an X written on her palm in Sharpie and he didn't even touch her. Crazy!
Another day at sea then we were back to reality in Galveston!
We all had a good time but were ready to be home after a week away!
