A Week Away . . .

We snuck away Friday afternoon for brunch in honor of all our birthdays.
Then the plan was to enjoy a day at the spa but since we were hosting 13 girls that night for DNOW I headed home to get everything ready while these two enjoyed a well-deserved massage!
Then on Sunday evening after a weekend of DNOW, I left for a week to Dallas for work.
Madi joined the Norris family for an evening walk!
Then she and Elly hung out since Monday was a holiday.
They also got their nails done that week.
I stayed in a neat hotel that was in an old renovated building.

Got an update on Tripp's fraternity!
Madi talked her Daddy into taking her shopping for a birthday brunch coming up over the weekend.
Out of town, but still see snippets of her day!

I got back into town Friday night with enough time to see Madi then she went to Bryn's house for the night.

Saturday morning they went to Ava's birthday brunch at Stella's.

Saturday night, Madi and Joleigh helped Elly get ready for prom.

Conner was nice enough to take Madi for a ride in his car for the night!

Sunday night, we had the Ellis, Foley, Buxkemper and Gibbs families over for fajitas and to swim!

The weather was so nice so after swimming they played spikeball out front!

It made us all wish for summer!

DNOW

Madi had DNOW the weekend after Spring Break. We hosted the 9th grade girls at our house.  There were 13 of them plus 3 leaders that stayed with us all weekend.

They were mostly at our house to shower and sleep but Saturday afternoon they came home for a few hours to practice their skit for that night.

We love that Madi has such a great group of church friends that she wants to be with all the time!

Albuquerque Tournament

Madi and Elly going to Sonic is almost a daily occurrence now!
We couldn't be at Masen's birthday but I'm sure glad he enjoyed his gift from us!
Morgan has a belly bump!  We are so excited to meet baby girl Moreno in August!
We left for Albuquerque on Thursday and immediately found a place to have snacks/drinks and play some Phase 10!
We had a great time hanging out with the other parents in between games.  Thankfully, our hotel was across the street from the convention center so we could walk over when we had a long break.

They all played well but fell short on Sunday afternoon.

We headed back home so we could get some sleep before the next week started!
Aunt Shelle sent these pictures of her lunch date most days.  I love that Tuck can walk home for a quick lunch any day he wants!
And he's almost driving now! Crazy!
What a great, busy Spring Break!  It makes us ready for summer!
