Snowed In!

Last week, school was canceled all week long!  Madi loved it because it meant more time with friends doing silly skits!

Allison and Jessica came and stayed with us for a night.  They had fun playing ping pong and sliding down driveways in the snow!
This is silly but we needed to cook two things the other night and I said "oh man I already have the oven on 400 degrees for the potatoes" and Matt said "well we have two ovens now!"  It was my first time needing and using two ovens!
Girls playing in the snow!
Aunt Shelle and the kids came to stay with us after days without water and electricity.  They ended up being without water for over 8 days and electricity for over 4 days.

We made the most of it and had a good time playing ping pong tournaments . . .
Eating yummy food . . .
Shopping . . .

And going to cheer on Tripp Thursday night.  Just lucky chance his game was in Lubbock!

They won!
Madi spent another night with the Foleys and they went to the mall!

Friday we had a Favorite Things party with my work crew.  It was so much fun and almost everyone was able to attend.

Friday night, we celebrated Ashley's birthday by escaping the Patio room at Trapped with the best time EVER.  We had over 35 minutes out of an hour left.
Then we had dinner at King Street Pub.
Saturday night we cooked out at the Foley's house with the Lewises for Lance's birthday!
As we were about to leave the Foley's house, I got a call that Aunt Shelle was on her way to Lubbock with this little one because she decided to do a back hand spring off her bed and broke her arm.
They arrived at the hospital at 11pm and were at our house at 1am.  They sedated her and set her arm in a soft cast.

Then Sunday afternoon we headed to Hamlin, TX to attend Cody's dad's funeral.  He passed away on Valentine's Day sadly.  While we went to the funeral Madi stayed with the Lewis family and watched Calen's game.

Cody, Shelle and family at Jeff's funeral.
Tripp was a pall bearer and took it pretty hard.  We are praying for their family.

Volleyball on Valentine's Weekend!

Madi's volleyball tournament was supposed to be on Sunday which was Valentine's Day but since it was supposed to snow they moved it to Saturday.
Madi's cheering section!  I'm wearing my new Volleyball Mom shirt!
Team pic during a break!
Madi was excited to keep the books for a game when they weren't playing.
Here are a few videos of their games!

Go Team Fuller and #17!

Valentine's Week

Monday the 8th Madi woke up to Dove chocolate caramels!
On our way to school!
It's Tripp's senior year so Shelle is always looking for certain pictures since they have Senior night, etc.  She wanted this picture of my mom putting on his boutonniere at our wedding.  It's one of my favorites!
Tuesday called for chocolate caramel hearts!
I can't believe it's times for Madi to pick out her 8th grade classes already!
Wednesday we stopped for a Starbucks treat before school!
Wednesday before church, we made puppy cookies for the Morris Safe House for NCL hours!  Of course, they had to be heart shaped!
Thursday was a snow day from school so we used the time to decorate Madi's room. She's been wanting vines on one wall.  Check!
We still need something for this wall and big white pillows but we are getting there!
The puppies enjoy staying in when it's cold outside and sitting right by my office door in the light from the front door.

Friday was back to school with caramel kisses!
Thankful for a "lovely" week!

More Volleyball!

Madi had another volleyball tournament the first weekend in February!  Thankfully, this tournament was in town!

Madi's serves are getting better and better and it's not uncommon for her to get on a serving streak and get her team 7 to 8 points!

She is also improving in her hits as well!

We sure love watching our #17 play and improve!

Valentines Month

We're not big on celebrating Valentine's Day but we usually get Madi some candy and a small gift or two.
This time we decided to give her a small treat during the week leading up to Valentine's Day.
First day was Guess Who?  Briley has this game and Madi just loves it.  We didn't have it when she was a kid so I guess now is the perfect time!
Monday
Tuesday - her favorite chocolates!
Wednesday she was surprised with a mascara she has been wanting!
Friday we wore red for NCL!
Friday's treat was from Grandma Mayberry!  Madi is loving carmel and chocolate!
Mattie, Allison and Jessica spent Saturday night with us so after church on Sunday I took them shopping at Target.
Sunday afternoon we headed to Levelland to watch the Superbowl with the Gibbs, Buxkempers and Foleys.  It's becoming a yearly tradition!
The food was amazing and so was the company!
Guess we were having too much fun to take any pictures!

Amarillo Volleyball Tournament

Saturday, January 30th we got up bright and early and headed to Amarillo for a volleyball tournament.
In between their games, the girls also have to call lines.
They pray before every game as a team.
Someone got tired . . . it was a long day!  We had to be in Amarillo at 7:15am and she didn't stop playing until about 5pm.  Then we ate dinner with some of the team and drove home.
Refueling between games!
Love Team Fuller Southwest!
Briley, Steely, Haley, Elly, Madi, Coach Fuller
Madeline, Laney, & Brianna
Madi's serves are getting better!

The girls took a while to start playing their best but overall it was a good tournament!

Love watching this girl play volleyball!

Puppies went to Grandma's House!

I just wanted this memory of sweet Casey . . . I accidentally clicked on an app on my laptop and this picture of me, Amy and Casey having a drink in our hot tub popped up.  So thankful we took time to just laugh and visit!
Matt surprised me with my ice machine!
It makes the perfect ice!
We designed our pantry with a plug and space for it's dimensions specifically but I didn't think I'd get it this soon!
Since our fence and grass weren't in when we moved in, the puppies went to stay at Grandma's house for two weeks.

They definitely loved it there but made many messes!
Thankfully, it wasn't too long before the sprinkler system and grass were put in!

And the trees and flower beds too!

It was fun to watch them get the tree in the backyard through the gate.
They also fixed the floor plug in the office.

We got a new back door but sadly the paint was messed up when he took off the paper.  Two steps forward, one step back!
Madi and I have done a bunch of shopping to get everything set for our new house!
It's getting closer and closer to feeling like home!
