Snow Day!

Madi went back to school on Tuesday after an almost 3 week Christmas break!  

Wednesday

Friday

Then we got so much snow that Sunday! 

We stayed inside nice and warm most of the time!

Monday was a virtual snow day!

Tuesday was a late start. 

Wednesday we went back to school!

Thursday

Friday, Madi had FCA so we brought donuts for them.  So many attended that I think they had 10-12 dozen. 

One week closer to moving day!  

House Update - Almost ready!

So much has been done on our new house!

The stove is in! 

Towel racks and shower faucets!

Almost all of the light fixtures are in!

Hooks in our mudroom area went in!

Matt is so excited about our rainfall shower faucet!

My tub is in the bathroom, now it just needs to be installed!

Madi's tile work in her shower is beautiful!

Toilets are in too!

Now we're just waiting mainly on carpet, plantation shutters, and finishing the pool and concrete out back! 

New Years at Six Flags!

We left Thursday morning to head to Dallas with the Gibbs, Buxkemper and Foley families to celebrate New Years!  It snowed and iced on us but thankfully we made it. 

The kids made hot chocolate the second they could!  

We celebrated New Years Eve with the 8 adults and 10 kids eating and playing games! 

The countdown is on!

New Years morning while the kids were still asleep all the adults snuck out for breakfast at a yummy cafe.  Then we tried to hit up the Salvation Army that Adam told us about but they locked the door on us since it wasn't 10am yet. 

We spent Friday just playing games and being lazy. 

We did take these silly girls shopping . . . 

Not sure why it is blurry but I want to remember how much they played Giant Uno. 

We walked around the house and down to an old cemetery then it was time for ice cream!  We found this neat place that is owned by a Tech grad. 

Then Saturday morning we were off to Six Flags!  Madi has never been so we thought going with all these friends would be so fun! 

The weather was beautiful and we had a great time!  We loaded up and headed home on Sunday just in time for Madi to make volleyball practice. 

Welcome 2021!  We are ready for you! 

Cake Decorating with Grandma!

The week after Christmas was spent doing fun things like Madi taking a cake decorating class with Grandma Mayberry. 

Grandma's neighbor decorates cakes so she set up a lesson for them and made this cute Santa cake. 

We also spent some time hanging out with the Lewis family.  Madi loves playing Guess Who! with them.  :) 

Tripp played in Jayton on Wednesday so off we went!  It was a great game and we always love cheering on our favorite #0! 

Finally found this girl some blue light glasses after a day full of shopping.  

Great way to end year 2020!
