More Fred Fun & House Update!

Saturday morning we had a house full of girls.  They ate donuts, played volleyball, went on a walk, decorated cookies and more! 

Sunday morning breakfast at the Foley's house. 

Fred didn't bring anything fun Day 5 and Day 6 since Madi had friends over and then they all stayed at the Foley's house on Saturday night. 

Day 7:  Fred brought Madi a fun hot chocolate cup to enjoy before school. 

Monday night we went over since they uncovered the pool!  So exciting! 

Day 8:  Fred helped add to Madi's nutcracker collection! 

I have the sweetest friends!  This little cutting board is going in my new kitchen. 

Tuesday

Our neighbor Heide always brings us the best cookies every Christmas!

Day 9:  Fred was being silly and hid 20 candy canes around the house for Madi to find. 

Wednesday 

Day 10:  Fred noticed that Madi loves Smart water with the sports cap so he brought her a few to take to practice!

After my work meeting and Christmas lunch, I took a few of my co-workers to see the house.  I was surprised to see some fans, light fixtures and stone on the fireplace installed! 

Day 11: Fred knows how much Madi loves Starbucks so he treated her to a fun drink this morning on the way to school. 

The fun doesn't stop here . . . we have quite the weekend planned!  

Levelland Christmas

We celebrated Christmas with our Levelland friends - Buxkempers, Gibbs, Ellises and Foleys - Friday night! 

We all brought fun snack food and the kids each brought a unisex $20 gift for a gift exchange. 

They drew numbers to open gifts then could steal gifts up to 3 times.  

It got pretty intense at times with 12 kiddos! 

Madi ended up choosing the gift we brought - Hydroflask, Starbucks gift card, 3 lottery tickets and some Christmas candy.

Then the adults played a White Elephant game with gifts we all brought.  Matt thinks the gourd a friend painted for me years ago are too funny so he commissioned her to paint more to give away.

Breann is so sweet that she also had a saranwrap game for them to play.  Note to self - don't use peel and stick or the game lasts FOREVER!

We have grown to love our Levelland friends like family.  We  already started planning a few summer trips with them.  :) 

Welcome Back, Fred!

On Sunday afternoon, we met Grandpa Mayberry and Uncle Rod to show them the progress on the house. 

They were nice enough to take a few pictures to document all the changes. 

So happy for Tripp and all the Jayton Jaybirds! 

We are ready for basketball season! 

Sunday afternoon was Madi's last Guns Up camp.  

Monday

Day 1:  Tuesday morning was December 1st so we had a visitor that morning that brought fun candy cane lights to decorate Madi's room. 

Matt went by the house on the way to work and had to show us Madi's shower.  We asked for two large shelves and they sure delivered!  She's one happy girl! 

Day 2:  Fred brought a fun snowflake blanket for Madi to cuddle up in!

Wednesday

Madi and her puppies all had on their matching PJs so I had to document this event! 

Day 3: Fred is so nice to bring a snowglobe from Vegas to add to Madi's collection. 

Thursday was orthodontist appointment day at 7:45am before school. 

She came out saying she got new wires, bands to her two extracted teeth, and pillows! 

Thursday night we continued dinner out with the Foleys by going to Gator's then a quick trip to the store.  I just had to laugh at these two guys! 

While we had dinner Madi had fun with her Foley family siblings!

Day 4: Fred heard Madi loves Rolos so he brought a candy cane full of them! 

They poured the pool and had it covered!  We can't wait. 

Saturday morning, Madi stayed home with friends (Mattie B and the Foley girls stayed Friday night) while we went to Grandma Mayberry's house to help with a garage sale. 

We are selling most of our stuff getting ready for the big move in about a month!
