Bless Our House!

Update on building our house . . .
In June, our foundation was poured and they began the framing!
In July, the framing was finished and it was on to a roof and windows . . .

The windows were put in . . .

In August, we walked through our house and wrote our favorite bible verses on the walls before they sheet rock.
We are getting excited for our house to be built!

Pool Time with Friends!

We've been trying to spend as much time at the pool this month since it's almost back to school time.
We met Elly and Briley's families at the pool on Sunday so they ended up having a slumber party at Briley's house.
They made smores and painted a canvas!
This has become our Sunday tradition and we love it!

Morris Safe House

This is what it looks like when you don't want to make many trips to stock up the fridge with water bottles.  Guess whatever works!
Another fun summer evening at the Foley's house grilling out!
Madi's friend Briley knows her love of Dolly Parton so she bought them matching shirts on her recent trip to Tennessee.  Such a thoughtful friend!
Madi's taste in chocolate bars has increased the older she gets!  :-)
We decided to get family pedicures on Friday!  It was Matt's first time getting a manicure and pedicure! He loved it.

We went to Levelland Friday night to celebrate Matt Buxkemper's birthday and Madi ended up spending the night.  So, that meant I had to drive to Levelland Saturday morning since we had our first volunteer shirt with NCL at Morris Safe House!
Not really sure you can call it serving when all you do is take puppies on walks and sit with them and love on them.  We were both in heaven and were sad when our shift was up!

All done!  And we can't wait to go back next week!
Madi has been enjoying making masks for family and friends. Uncle Rod ask for a mustang mask.  She delivered!
We sure our loving our summer time!

Tripp's Baptism

We woke up Sunday and headed to Jayton to attend Tripp's baptism.
It was nice seeing everyone at the service and then lunch afterward at Shelle and Cody's house.
We also celebrated Maci's birthday while we were there.  Madi couldn't believe how long Tripp's hair had grown so she asked to braid it.  We couldn't believe he said yes.
We are thankful for the decision Tripp made to follow Christ.  And we are thankful we could be there on his baptism.  Such a special time with family.
