Fields of Faith

 Sunday night was family game night on the patio!

 Part of our entertainment was Madi's scrunchie pony tail!

 Monday morning, I took this one to school then headed to the airport for a few days in Chicago/NW Indiana.

 Wednesday

 Fields of Faith was Wednesday night with Madi's youth group!  While I was flying home, Matt picked up a bunch of girls, headed to church for dinner then took them to Fields of Faith.

 Thursday Madi had FCA at 7:15am so we took her picture inside since it was still dark out.

 Matt is such a good Daddy.  Madi couldn't wait to show him how she organized the new scrunchies she got in her bathroom.  So she called her Daddy in there to show him and he was impressed!

 Friday we took Elly to school with us!

We have a fun fall weekend ahead of us!

Clay Cafe

  Saturday, Madi's youth group met at Clay Cafe to do some painting and fellowshipping.

 No surprise, Madi chose a pig to paint.

 Gracie joined us since she spent the night and has been attending Wednesday nights with us too.

 Then after I picked them up, we went to The Soda Shack since I was given a gift card last week.

 Thumbs up was the verdict on their fun drink concoctions!

 The frosted cookies were amazing too!

The rest of the weekend consisted of cleaning out the game closet, pantry and garage plus lots of relaxing.  Oh yea, Tripp came to town to visit friends so we worked on some of his homework together too.  Overall, it was a relaxing weekend that was much needed.

Band Demonstration

 We came home on Sunday to Madi's plants for her science fair project nearly double in size!

 Wednesday was a busy day . . . school, piano, back to school for Madi's band demonstration, then church!

 It was fun to see and hear what Madi learns in band class every day.

 Their band shirts came in so Madi was excited to wear it on Thursday.  It says "LBMS Band Thing" in the same font and style as the show Stranger Things.

 Friday

After camping last weekend and the cool fall weather that has started, we are SO excited for a slower weekend. 

Palo Duro Camping

 Last weekend, we went camping with our Sunday School class at Palo Duro.  We went two years ago and then last year we were rained out so we were happy to go this year!

 There were about ten families there camping with us.  There were at least 6 kids Madi's age.

Saturday we entertained ourselves with games of dart blowing . . .

 Going on a hike . . .

 After our hike, we all met at the little gift shop for ice cream.  Our families FILLED the place!

 Then Amber took the kids on an evening hike to the caves . . .

 They also love digging holes . . .

 Eating around the camp fire . . .

 Sunday morning, we packed up to get ready to head home. 

 We all enjoyed coffee, hot chocolate and one last breakfast over the campfire!
