Aladdin!

Friday morning, Madison was ready for her last day of rehearsals before the big night!
They practiced at Cooper High's Performing Arts Center on Thursday and Friday since that's where the play will be performed.  We took a picture right outside the auditorium.
Shay was helping during the day so she sent this picture of their rehearsal.
Daddy & the star of the show!
Mom & the star of the show!

Madi loved being a vendor girl!

Thanks to Shay we had reserved seats waiting on us.  :)
I couldn't believe how excited Madi was about performing in Aladdin.
She was so serious about her lines, songs, and dance moves.

Jasmine was played by the sister of one of Madi's friends.

After the show, all the performers were in the hallway for pictures with their "fans!"
 Madison & Maisen
Madi, Maisen & Allyson (Her sister played Jasmine!)
We thoroughly enjoyed the play and were so impressed with all they had accomplished in five days.  The theatre teacher at Laura Bush, Mr. Aguirre, is quite amazing!
We all celebrated with dinner at Blue Sky!

They're putting on Aladdin in a real production Friday night and here's her script book for the big play!
Tuesday - ready for another fun day of learning lines and dances.
 Wednesday
We were on the Spotted! website for the newspaper!
 Thursday
Madi picked out a bunch of jello to make with Grandma next week when we're gone to Vegas!
They'll definitely have plenty of snacks!

Our New Pool!

The two pictures popped up on my Timehop on Facebook.
Six years ago she was a little two year old and now she's an amazing 8 year old having a blast with friends and her cousins at the pool everyday!

Slap bracelets on every arm and leg!
Saturday morning we met the Daniel girls at Home Depot for the monthly kid workshop.
Since it's June, the product was a phone holder for her dad!
After Home Depot and some shopping at Target we went to lunch at Fuzzy's.
Then tried our new Lakeridge pool out for the afternoon.
Madi loves the two diving boards for sure!
She also enjoyed ordering a strawberry slushy and not even having to pay!  :)  Sweet girl doesn't know it just goes on our tab.  She couldn't believe they didn't ask for any money.
Saturday afternoon, Madi couldn't wait any longer.  She just had to give her Daddy an early Father's Day gift.  He loved the trophy phone holder and now uses it every night.
Sunday after church and lunch at Dion's with our Sunday School class, Matt went golfing so Madi and I decided to hit the pool.
Sadly, we couldn't decide which one so we met the Daniels at Quaker Heights for a few hours then we stopped by Lakeridge for a little while before heading home.  The perfect compromise!

Memorial Day & on . . .

We met up with the Daniel Family for our annual Memorial Day swim party at our pool!
Then Monday afternoon/evening the Daniels came over for a cook out and hot tub time!
Tuesday flew by with a little bit of work and afternoon pool time.
Wednesday was the first movie of  the summer.
We saw Max and loved it!
The cousins spent Wednesday night with us and all day today as well.
Everyone loves Noodle!
It was too rainy and cold to go to the pool in the afternoon so we jumped in the hot tub!
After dinner and baths, we enjoyed a game of Clue! and . . .
 Sorry!
 Bath hair, don't care!
Thursday morning memories like this pop up on Facebook!
She's adorable and so little!
 More cousin fun today awaits!
We've definitely packed a lot of fun into the first few days of summer!

Sunday Funday!

We spent some family time at Main Event on Sunday!
We started with a round of bowling first.
 That screen says STRIKE!!!
 10 WHOLE PINS!
Then we played some glow-in-the-dark golf!
It was a pretty close game.
Madi and I are getting better for sure!
Then it was Laser Tag time!
 Our red team won!
Then we hit a few golf balls at Lakeridge.
Madi enjoyed putting . . .
And I enjoyed watching this handsome guy . . .

Then we enjoyed another evening outside grilling dinner and relaxing.
Welcome SUMMER!
