We made a quick trip to Roswell Saturday morning to help Aunt Erin and Uncle Cody settle into their new house. After all the hard work, we cooled off at their pool then visited at Grandma and Grandpa Heider's house.
I heard it took some coaxing but Madison finally went across the ropes!
Not too sure what these two were up to but they sure are fun to watch!
I had already planned a few weeks back to get my Aunt Bev's old sewing machine out of our attic for Madi to start learning when all of the sudden Sunday afternoon Madi asks for my needle and thread so she can make a blanket for her doll.
She pieced it all together.
As Matt was getting the buckets out of the attic this happened . . .
Thankfully Madi and I were INCHES out of the way and Matt was able to pull himself up from a hanging position. Needless to say the ladder wasn't installed properly.
We used the shelf in the guest room closet to make a sewing area for Madison. She can work when she wants to and then shut the doors!
Her doll had a nice blanket to enjoy at bedtime.
The Culligan man had to come by Monday morning so she requested a part french-braid/part pony tail. I need to keep practicing at this rate!
Then we ran to the bank and car wash before meeting Aunt Shelle and kids for lunch.
Not sure if this is normal or not but Madi loves to sit in the "way back" as she calls it anytime we go to the car wash.
After lunch all of us went to the library to pick out some good books.
Tripp was looking for a specific book so it was an educational visit too. They figured out how to use the computer to find the location and then they had to figure out how to navigate the library shelves.
Successful afternoon!
