Double Cousins!

Last Sunday night Madi went to Lauren's birthday party at The Falls pool.
Shay and I went shopping while the girls swam!
Silly glasses straw to drink cranberry juice?  Sure why not!

Monday morning off to play at Aunt Shelle's house.
Tuck and Maci wanted to come home with us since it's summertime!
They were so good while Madi practiced at swim team so they picked a candy out at the store and I grabbed chicken nuggets for them on the way home.
Madi taught them how to water plants and when to pick tomatoes.
Then they played in the sprinklers for HOURS!
After a bubble bath warm cookies were waiting for them!
I made Tucker a "Class of 2027" shirt similar to Madi's since he just finished Kindergarten.
Seems far away but I know it'll be here soon.
Maci wanted a picture of her art work too.
Dr. Button brought back maracas from the Dominican Republic for Madison.  We hope to join her soon.
Tuesday night we watched one of Tucker's 3v3 games then ate with Aunt Shelle and Uncle Cody at Blue Sky.
Wednesday is movie day so Madi was dressed in her swimsuit so we could hit the pool right after the movie.
Wednesday night after swim team we took dinner up to Matt's work.
Thank goodness for his exercise ball to keep her occupied in his office.

 Thursday
Thursday afternoon Tripp, Tuck and Maci came home with us after the pool.  They immediately watched a movie and relaxed.
I made them pizza and cookies.  It's definitely summer in our house!
 Enjoying dinner!
Maci reading not one, but TWO bibles.  :)

After a bubble bath for the littles it was time for cookies and milk.
The littles went to bed and Tripp stayed up with us a while.  All 3 dogs immediately laid on him.
Friday morning we were up bright and early so the kids could come to Tech with me to be students for Stephanie's Children's Literature class.
It was really different styling straight hair for a change!
Hanging out in my office until time Stephanie came and got them.
Since Tripp is in middle school now he's too old for the class so he and I walked around campus a little.  He really liked the hand holding letters fountain.  Too bad it was turned off.
We checked in on the kids.
Then they played while I finished up a few things before meeting Aunt Shelle and the Daniel girls at Chick-fila for lunch.
Then we headed to the pool.
 Madi dove a few times.
And Tucker learned to dive for the very first time off the diving board.
After his very first dive he immediately did a running side dive when I went to video him.

Quick learner and no fear.  A good combo!

It's SUMMERTIME!

On the last day of school, Maci came home with us since it was raining pretty hard and ended up spending the night.
It was a great way to start the summer.  They both had so much fun playing together!
We decided to start decorating for Father's Day a little early.  Since Madi wants to learn how to sew I showed her how to use a needle and thread to make this banner.
We got a cute "save the date" in the mail.  Can't wait for March!
Friday evening we went to Blue Sky for dinner and had the patio to our selves which meant Madi had the sandbox to herself!
We also started on our annual Father's Day mug at Clay Cafe.
She does the entire process by herself now and for the last two years.  I just laugh at the color choices.
Maisen came over after church and learned how to ride a bike for the first time.
Madi is such a good teacher.  I could hear her give suggestions and encourage Maisen!
Monday was the first day of Cinderellie, Cinderellie Art Camp.
We went to lunch with Margaret and her mom Stephanie and then I took the girls to Science Spectrum for the afternoon.
They loved setting up the dominoes all around the table.
I don't even remember what this exhibit was for but they looked funny with their hair flying all over.

Virtual volleyball is always a hit!
Tuesday morning - ready for day 2 of art camp.
She did crafts all afternoon once we got home from the pool.
She lost her 8th tooth on our first day at the pool.
Even though she doesn't believe in the Tooth Fairy she had some fun bubble bath waiting for her the next morning.
She has lost the top and bottom 4 now!
Wednesday - day 3 of art camp awaits!
The picture was a little dark so I made her put her back to the sun.
Pool again!  It's a daily staple in the summer.
Thursday - Last day of art camp sadly.
We went by the library after the pool since she read her 18 books for the reading program in a day!  They get all sorts of prizes.
We had to try out the new bubble bath  She wanted a picture with bubbles on her head.
Art camp was such a good experience for Madison.
They painted canvases, wooden boards, water colored, . . .
 sketched, and more!
She asked if she could go to another art camp this summer!
Friday we went up to Tech for two hours before the pool.  Stephanie's Children's Lit class made grey matter for a book they were reading so Stephanie let Madi make some too.  She now says when you ask what she wants to be when she grows up "a veterinarian, artist or a teacher at Tech so I can make grey matter!"
Friday at the pool!  We were the only ones there at first!
The Silver team has been great so far!  Swimming 3 times a week for 45 minutes is pretty tough though.  ON ME!  She wants flippers like these so I snapped a picture so we could find them online.
Matt and I are a little too happy that Bath & Body Works are bringing back Juniper Breeze, our favorite scent!
Friday after the pool and swim team we took Madi over to Maisen's house for Maygen to babysit and we went dancing with Shay and Brent.

We learned the East and West Coast Swing and had a blast!
Poor girls had no fun with Maygen babysitting them as evidenced by the picture she texted us!
Cheetah-girl & Nerd-girl!
Saturday we were lazy and just did laundry and yard work before going to the pool.
My two favorites at the pool!
 Madi & Mommy selfie
Then we decided having the pool in the background would be better.
We grabbed 3 movies from Redbox and had a family movie afternoon in the nice cool air conditioning.
Then we grilled out hamburgers for dinner.  Matt sent me this cute picture of GV laying on the concrete and grass while he was outside.  We were able to eat tomatoes from Madi's plants with our hamburgers.  I think it's safe to say she's walking in her Grandpa Heider's footsteps!
