After seeing the movie Alvin and the Chipmunks, we all headed home for a quick nap. Then we met up at Red Lobster for dinner. The plan was to look at Christmas lights on the way to Shelle's house but the weather wasn't too nice so we headed right over.
The kids were SO excited to start opening presents.
Tucker makes a great firefighter, don't ya think?
Matt always teases that he doesn't have a towel with his name on it at my parents since my Aunt Bev's embroidery machine broke before we were married. So, I got tired of his teasing and had one of our friends from church make him his very own towel! I think he was surprised!
I'm so happy that Tucker got plenty of play clothes since he LOVES dressing up with Madi. Now it can be as a firefighter and superhero instead of as a princess! ;)
I see many "battles" in these two brothers' future!
Madi and Momma
(with one of my new scarves, both my mom and mother-in-law picked up on my love of scarves this Christmas!)
I told Matt that I wanted to get my mom a headset for her home telephone since that's where she spends most of her time . . . talking on the phone!
When she opened it, we teased her that we got her a job working at Sonic!
We then headed home after a long fun day!
We made cookies and set them out for Santa (by the front door, of course!).
Then came Christmas morning . . .
I love how dazed and tired she looks here. I think it was present and fun overload!
Santa even played the first round on her Connect 4 game.
I think her Mom and Dad were most excited about the walkie talkies Santa brought Madi. We have had so much fun hiding from each other in the house.
Due to the snowy weather, we delayed going to Roswell to see Matt's side of the family until the day after Christmas. But that didn't put a damper on the fun. Many SNOW pictures coming soon!
