Birthday Cake

Now that Madi knows her birthday is October 17th she always says

"My party's this weekend. We're going to have cake!"

So, when playing with play-doh this week she mixed a bunch of colors to make a "birthday cake."
She knows not to mix the colors but since Daddy was the one "watching" her I guess the rules went out the window!

Thank goodness we have TONS of play-doh!

Silly Glasses!

I saw a cute idea on a blog I read to make fun, silly glasses out of pipe cleaners.

It was quick and easy and the kids can help twist them into shape.
They even posed for pictures with them on!

Then Madi took some pictures . . . of Tucker

I'm impressed that they can even hold the camera much less push the button and get eachother in the frame!

Happy 32nd Birthday to Me!

My parents came in the night before my birthday since my mom is having back surgery (AGAIN!) in the morning.

We ate at Lujan's and then had sopapilla cheesecake (my favorite!) at Shelle's house afterwards.
